About the Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway is an AusAID funded website portal, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region.

The Gateway aims to assist you, the development community in your efforts to help people overcome poverty. It does this by improving your access, opportunities, profile and connections to fresh, topical, relevant jobs, people and information.

The Gateway was launched in July 2004, as part of the World Bank initiated Development Gateway. Australia was the first OECD country to develop its own Country Gateway. Today, there are 18 Country Gateway websites globally, each focusing in different areas.

The Gateway is managed by NetReturn Consulting, a Sydney based website management firm. We're a team of a handful of aid and content specialists, developers, website savvy people, joined by 30+ Content Partners and yourselves, working to make the Gateway the most helpful online portal for you, the development community in the Asia-Pacific.
