This guidance note has been written by the United Nations for it’s own in-country teams.  It provides detail in regards to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities and how its implementation by nation states can be supported by UN agencies. It explicitly outlines disability entry points in relation to the development of the UN Development Assistance Frameworks (UNDAF) for a particular country.  Much of these entry points apply to other national priority setting exercises.

This UN Guidance Note breaks down the process for the development of the United Nations Development Assistance framework into four key stages and highlights, with detail, how disability inclusion could be achieved during these phases. It contains a useful ‘tool kit’, and within the document there are numerous links to other useful resources. This document identifies the many ‘disability inclusion entry points’ that exist at a high level of country analysis, strategic planning and monitoring and evaluation.
