During the month of September 2010, the Australian Development Gateway held an online campaign and 'call to action' to support progress towards the achievement of the critical United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). This campaign coincided with the United Nations MDG Leaders Summit held in New York from 20-22 September 2010, and an approaching target date of only 5 years remaining to achieve these goals.
The online campaign to 'Shine the spotlight on the MDGs' was undertaken in consultation with AusAID and syndicated through the Development Gateway and Country Gateway Network.
