This paper looks at the legal aspects of two particular agriculture issues in Australia.
The first part of the paper explores the impact of environmental law on agricultural land rights and the legal mechanisms and institutions in which arising conflicts need to be addressed.
The second part of paper looks at the policy and legal implications of a single wheat desk on wheat exports, wheat growers and the broader community.
The experiences presented in the paper aim to inform and assist stakeholders involved in the development of existing and future regulation of the agricultural sector.
