The OECD-DAC International Network on Conflict and Fragility has released its 2011 monitoring report on international engagement in fragile states. The report, 'Can't We Do Better?' (PDF 4.6 MB), calls for development partners to work harder to ensure that policies adopted at headquarters actually take effect in the field. It also calls for a major shift in the way that development priorities and results are defined.

Other new publications in INCAF's Conflict and Fragility and Armed Violence Reduction series are also available. These include guidelines on managing risks and an overview of political settlements.
