Symposium: The World Report on Disability: Implications For Asia And The Pacific
The Symposium (5-6 December 2011, hosted by University of Sydney) focused on the World Report on Disability, jointly published by WHO and the World Bank and released on 9 June 2011.
The Symposium aimed to help realise the potential of the Report and offer a forum for free, open and vigorous discussion of the Report and its implications for Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Co-Sponsor WHO and the University of Sydney also wished to promote discussion of the Report’s implications for research into policy and practice.
