The Australian Aid Resource and Training Guide (AARTG) has been produced on a monthly basis for a number of years. This is edited by Chris Piper of TorqAid – www.torqaid.com, and he can be contacted on pipercm@iprimus.com.au. Chris is a multi-skilled development/humanitarian practitioner, specializing in disaster risk management (DRM); project management; training/facilitation; research & publication; and coaching/mentoring.

About the AARTG:
As well as being found on the TorqAid website, the AARTG also sits prominently on both the Australian Development Gateway and ACFID – www.acfid.asn.au websites. The AARTG is designed to give useful information on the following four areas to development practitioners, students and other interested people:

- Links to opportunities of working in development/humanitarian work both overseas and in Australia
- Links to key Australian organisations/institutions involved in different aspects of development/humanitarian
   work
- Links to a selection of overseas/international organisations/institutions involved in different aspects of
   development/humanitarian work
- Links to key Australian training providers offering either short courses or post-graduate programs in a range
   of development/humanitarian sectors
