This resource is the draft resolution of the High Plenary Meeting of the 64th session of the UN General Assembly in September 2010. The document reviews the successes, uneven progress, challenges and opportunities for each of the MDGs. It resolves to promote and strengthen national ownership and leadership of development as a key determinant of progress in achieving the MDGs, with each country taking the primary responsibility for its own development.
