The Australian Government is providing $30.2 million over four years, beginning 2010-2011, to implement the disability-specific measures in the Government's strategy 'Development for All'. The strategy aims to change the way that Australian international development assistance is designed and delivered to ensure that persons with disabilities are included throughout and benefit equally with others. Ensuring that development reaches, includes and benefits persons with disabilities is an important step in global efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
