Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

  • Asian Development Bank tenders - The Asian Development Bank funds development projects and programs in the Asia Pacific region, generating opportunities for the business communities of its member countries.
  • AusAID - Every year the Australian Government buys more than $820 million worth of goods and services for use in aid projects around the world.
  • dgMarket - The global dgMarket tendering service is a Development Gateway intiative. It provides access to more than 30,000 current public procurement notices on any given day.
  • World Bank tenders - The World Bank provides average annual lending commitments for investment projects of US$10-US$15 billion a year. These funds are used by recipient countries to purchase goods and equipment, construct civil works, and obtain the consulting services needed to implement these projects.
