Australian Aid Resource and Training Guide

This Australian Aid Resource and Training Guide (AARTG) is a monthly newsletter which provides information about how community development and overseas aid practitioners can become involved in humanitarian and development activities.

It consists of four sections:

The information in the AARTG is designed for a number of groups of people including:

  • Practitioners involved in Community Development (CD) projects in either urban or rural/outback Australia ; or those involved in overseas CD projects/programs
  • Volunteers, students or other interested individuals wanting to explore CD or overseas aid work
The AARTG was published and edited by TorqAid between 2002 through to 2009. From January 2010, this responsibility was taken over by The Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC).   The updated versions of the AARTG can be viewed directly on the FDC website via the above links.
