Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

UniQuest Pty Limited is the commercial and technology transfer company of the University of Queensland. The International Projects Division specialises in the design and delivery of international development projects for government and international donor agencies.

UniQuest International Projects has managed or partnered development assistance and training projects in over 35 countries for AusAID, the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, NZAID and United Nations agencies, throughout South Asia, South East Asia, Africa and the Pacific.

Core sectors include governance, education and training, community and private sector development, natural resource management and rural development, and the environment.

UniQuest's expert personnel are adaptable, innovative and professional. The company also has access to the latest sectoral research and technology from the University of Queensland, one of Australia's leading universities. In addition, the International Projects Division works closely with other divisions of UniQuest: TechComm (technology commercialisation) and Consulting and Research (domestic) to access expertise and experience which benefit its clients.The UniQuest International Projects approach is to:
