Crawford School of Economics and Government

APSEG logoThe Crawford School of Economics and Government is Australia's leading policy school focused on Australia, Asia and the Pacific. Our reputation rests on first class research capacities and highly successful graduate professional training programs.

The Crawford School has a multi-pronged training mission - professional masters coursework programs, doctoral research programs and executive short courses. Our coursework students pursue studies in one of three programs - Environmental Management and Development, International and Development Economics and Public Policy and Governance.

Crawford School research is motivated by twin goals of engaging leading scholarly debates and helping address pressing Australian and international policy problems.

Crawford School is also home to the successful policy-oriented publication house, Asia Pacific Press (APP) and the The Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) which provides a flexible learning system that uses two-way video conferencing, internet and other advanced communication technologies to link together a global network of learning centres. It is an interactive, multi-channel network with a mandate to serve the developing world.

GDLN-Australia functions as the Australian coordinating distance learning centre of the GDLN network.
