Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Welcome to the Environment sector. The emergence of both local and global environmental challenges, such as climate change and biodiversity loss, have created renewed urgency amongst donors and national governments to adopt sound environmental and natural resource management approaches. This is being recognised as critical to achieving sustainable development outcomes. Resources provided in this section will be of interest to researchers, practitioners and administrators involved in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of environment and climate related policies and programs.
