Giles has over 20 years of experience as a development practitioner, specialising in rural development, agricultural and environmental areas. He has worked for donors including AusAID, DFID and the European Union on projects in PNG, Philippines and the Solomon Islands, as well as short term missions in Cambodia, Nepal and China. Giles is currently a Senior Consultant with Hassall & Associates International. His previous experience includes the provision of development assistance both as a consultant and working for AusAID in the areas of natural and farm resource management, private sector agriculture, horticulture production and processes for the provision of safe drinking water.
