Anti-Corruption Policies in Asia and the Pacific
Anti-Corruption Policies in Asia and the Pacific presents an overview of the main developments in the area of combating corruption in 21 Asian and Pacific countries and territories.
The publication is based on information provided by the governments that have endorsed the Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia and the Pacific through self-assessment reports and through publicly available information on the relevant institutions' official websites.
This report reviews legal instruments and institutional mechanisms, anti-corruption policies and trends in the following 21 countries: covers Australia; Bangladesh; Cambodia; Cook Islands; Fiji Islands; Hong Kong, China; India; Indonesia; Japan; Republic of Kazakhstan; Republic of Korea; Kyrgyz Republic; Malaysia; Mongolia; Nepal; Pakistan; Papua New Guinea; Philippines; Samoa; Singapore; and Vanuatu.
The report provides a tool to measure progress over time and serves to disseminate good practices and experiences throughout the region. The Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia and the Pacific (see the appendix of this resource), endorsed by all these countries, serves as a reference standard for this analysis.
