WaterAid Australia launch

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Alexander Downer, recently launched WaterAid Australia:

"Newly registered as a charity and modeled on its UK counterpart, WaterAid Australia is not only a new entity among Australian non-government organizations - rather, it the far-sighted response by the water industry across our country to a key development aid issue in our region, that also represents a new and valuable partnership opportunity for the Australian Government and also for ordinary Australians - a partnership that has a clear potential to help millions of people in our region."
