Strengthening Capacity for Development (pdf 1.24mb)

The guidelines were prepared in close collaboration with a range of stakeholders, including representatives of developing country governments and enterprise organisations. They address the following issues;

Why it is necessary to develop the capacity for trade
what are the policy constraints to trade
how to create a durable policy framework for trade development
how to identify the principles for developing the capacity for trade.
