Human rights
Australian Human Rights Centre
The Australian Human Rights Centre is an inter-disciplinary research and teaching institute based in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales. The Centre aims to increase public awareness about human rights procedures, standards and issues within Australia and the international community and specifically in the Asia Pacific region.
The centre also undertakes research projects on contemporary human rights issues on matters of national and regional interest, provides information on developments within the field, and hosts a number of seminars and conferences each year.
