Guidelines for managing conflict of interest in the public service (pdf 265kb)
This policy brief summarises the principles and approaches underpinning OECD guidelines on managing conflict of interest in the public sector.
The guidelines are the first comprehensive international benchmark to help governments review and modernise their conflict-of-interest policies for the public sector. They take a practical approach, considering that all conflicts of interest cannot be eliminated and therefore public officials' private interests need to be identified and managed in an appropriate manner.
