Best practices in community development (pdf 299kb)

The Philippines Australia Community Assistance Program (PACAP) is an AusAID-funded program supporting community-initiated development activities in marginalised communities in the Philippines.

This publication highlights best practices in twelve (12) PACAP-assisted projects.  Projects are grouped into 5 sectors based on their common features, including agri-based enterprises, social credit, non agri-based enterprises, environment, and area-focused approaches.

The report highlights best practices, lessons learned and challenges across activities in all these sectors. They illustrate the commonalities as well as the unique features of projects within the sectors.
