Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

From 5 - 16 March 2007 Jorgen Jensen answered ADG user's questions on sector programming and using a sector wide approach to planning and delivering development projects.

Jorgen is an accomplished international development specialist with over 15 years experience in institutional development, organisational change management, human resource development and management, training and capacity building.

He has substantial experience with DANIDA, the EU and multilateral organisations through his work with the Danish consulting company Carl Bro International with the majority of his field experience in Papua New Guinea, Bolivia and Central America.

Jorgen has been with Hassall and Associates International (HAI) since March 2006 and has taken the lead of their Development Impact Group. His role contributes to the continuous improvement of HAI's development impact by leading the gathering, management and dissemination of relevant knowledge on best practice development and innovative approaches to HAI field and home office staff.
