Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Harmonisation & Alignment

Harmonising donor practices for effective aid delivery

This publication series forms part of an ongoing initiative by the OECD's Development Assistance Committee (DAC) to improve the effectiveness and harmonisation of development aid. It consists of 3 volumes, covering:

  • Volume 1 - frameworks for donor cooperation, country analytical work, preparation of projects and programs, measuring performance in public financial management,reporting and monitoring, financial reporting and auditing, and delegated cooperation
  • Volume 2 - budget support, sector-wide approaches (SWAps) and capacity development in public financial management
  • Volume 3 - strengthening procurement capacities in developing countries
