Incentives for harmonisation and alignment in aid agencies (pdf 396kb)
This paper aims to assess the importance of incentive systems internal to aid agencies in their efforts to improve harmonisation and alignment of aid.
It looks at different factors which influence behaviour in aid agencies, and discusses how they affect the adoption of harmonised practices and alignment of development cooperation to recipient country systems and priorities.
