The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. Engineers Without Borders Australia

Engineers Without Borders Australia works with disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through education and the implementation of sustainable engineering projects.

They aim to link engineering and engineering related students with project opportunities, primarily in the developing world. The objective of all these activities is not only to contribute to new and ongoing development projects in an effective way, but also to expand the dimensions of experience for emerging and practicing engineers.
