Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Approaches to Fragile States

Monitoring resource flows to fragile states - 2005 report (pdf 389kb)

This annual report by the OECD monitors aid and resource flows to fragile states. It is designed to help inform policy and decision making by development organisations, particularly donor agencies.

The 2005 report analysed a group of 35 fragile states and presents its findings according to four categories:

- Need and levels of aid
- Governance indicators
- Volatility of aid flows
- International presence and attention
