Private participation in infrastructure: the case of Thailand (pdf 227kb)
This paper examines the issue of private-sector participation in infrastructure in Thailand, due to its major role in accommodating rapid economic growth in the past.The paper highlights some of the key problems faced by private investors and points to the inconsistency of treatment in some cases. Nonetheless, Thailand is one of the most favoured locations for private infrastructure investment in the Asian region.
