This brief presents the decentralisation approaches adopted in China, Indonesia and the Philippines, where steps have been taken to decentralise infrastructure services.It assesses how each country fared in addressing the key challenges of promoting regional coordination and building accountability for infrastructure services in a decentralized environment and provides lessons for other initiatives elsewhere.
