Catalyzing good governance using Information Communication Technologies
The DigitalGovernance.org Inititiave, launched by the World Bank in 2000, is a network of academics and that develop governance projects in which Information and Communications Technology (ICT) plays an active and significant role, such as:- providing improved electronic governance (Egovernance) products and services and enhancing participation of people in their choice and provision
- bringing new sections of society under the Egovernance sphere including the poor, the illiterate, the differently abled, indigenous people, migrants and displaced people.
