Climate change and infrastructure design case study: Wairau catchment, North Shore city (pdf 363kb)
This case study investigates the impacts of both climate change and different modeling approaches on storm water infrastructure. It presents 4 different climate data sets that were produced, representing possible future climate change scenarios. This study is not intended to provide any standard solutions. It should be recognised that each region, district and community will have its own climate-related vulnerabilities and priorities relating to rainfall and storm water infrastructure.
