Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Toolkit on renewable energy projects

This toolkit provides a broad set of tools to assist development practitioners to improve the design and implementation of renewable energy projects.

It promotes the incorporation of best practices and lessons learned from other projects, and aims to address practical implementation needs at each stage in the project cycle.

The content covers a range of topics including appropriate promotional policies, sustainable business models, finance mechanisms and regulatory frameworks, and technical standards.
