Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Study on capacity, change and performance: Interim report (pdf 614kb)

This is the interim report of a study commissioned by the OECD to examine the capacity of organisations and groups of organisations in low income countries. The purposes of the study are:

- to enhance understanding of the interrelationships between capacity, change and performance, and
- to provide general recommendations and tools to support the effectiveness of external interventions aimed at improving capacity and performance.
 
This interim report sets out some of the patterns emerging from the findings and indicates the tasks and schedule required to complete the study.
