The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Task force on financing water for all report (pdf 1mb)

This report examines the supply and demand issues in accessing financing for water. In particular, the report looks closely at two issues:
- Financing water for agriculture, since more than 70% of freshwater use is for agriculture
- Access of local governments to financing for water, overcoming bottlenecks and finding ways scale up or replicate successful experiences
This report was jointly produced by the Global Water Partnership, the Secretariat of the 4th World Water Forum and the World Water Council.
