Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Securing equality, engendering peace (pdf 331kb)

This guide aims to facilitate the creation of policies and concrete action plans on the issue of women, peace and security.

It is intended as a resource for governments, United Nations and regional organisations as well as NGOs who are interested in developing plans and policies on women, peace and security issues.

The guide's approach is founded on three core methodologies, including strategic planning, participatory planning, and gender and socio-economic analysis.
