Inexcusable absence: why 60 million girls still aren't in school
This report examines the circumstances of the 70 percent of girls who are not at school due to their:- Ethnicity
- Religion
- Race or other minority situation
The authors investigate this doubly disadvantaged group, concentrating on the ways in which gender inequality overlaps with various types of social exclusion to increase disadvantage. They then suggest policies and programs for reaching out to this sector.
