Anti-corruption strategy for provincial government in Papua New Guinea (pdf 51K)
This working paper from the Asia Pacific School of Economics and Management (Australian National University) examines the causes and characteristics of Papua New Guinea corruption at the provincial government level.
The study includes local governments functioning at the district level and both political and administrative corruption at the provincial level.
The strategies to combat corruption incorporate aspects of the ethical framework proposed by the Independent Commission Against Corruption of New South Wales (ICAC) relevant to the requirements of Papua New Guinea.
