This pamphlet describes some basic rights that people living with HIV should be able to exercise. It provides evidence of how people's rights are frequently denied, and gives some direction for people living with HIV on how to advocate for their rights if they are violated.Some of the basic rights this pamphlet outlines are:
- Right to health
- Right to freedom from inhuman or degrading treatment
- Right to privacy
- Right to shelter
- Right to work
- Right to choose a partner and a family
- Right to education
