Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

We have rights: pamphlet (pdf 528kb)

This pamphlet describes some basic rights that people living with HIV should be able to exercise. It provides evidence of how people's rights are frequently denied, and gives some direction for people living with HIV on how to advocate for their rights if they are violated.

Some of the basic rights this pamphlet outlines are:

- Right to health
- Right to freedom from inhuman or degrading treatment
- Right to privacy
- Right to shelter
- Right to work
- Right to choose a partner and a family
- Right to education
