UNDP corporate strategy on HIV/AIDS (pdf 185kb)
This brief, on the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) response strategy to HIV/AIDS, outlines the focus on three services that are complementary and mutually reinforcing:- HIV/AIDS and human development: eg. intellectual property rights and access to antiretrovirals
- Governance of HIV/AIDS responses: eg. strengthening partnership between government and civil society
- HIV/ AIDS human rights and gender: eg. stigma and discrimination, gender equality
As the largest development agency in the world, UNDP is strategically placed to provide comprehensive support to countries in addressing the development challenges and impacts of the AIDS epidemic.
