Call to action: towards an HIV and AIDS free generation (pdf 16kb)

This brief aims to strengthen efforts and support the measures needed to eliminate HIV in infants and young children and clear the way for a worldwide HIV-free and AIDS-free generation.

The brief is a call to action resulting from the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission(PMTCT) High Level Global Partners Forum 2005. At the forum representatives of governments, multilateral agencies, development partners, research institutions, civil society and people living with HIV assembled as a matter of urgency to take stock and accelerate action to address the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
