Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Revitalising the global movement of people living with HIV (pdf 387kb)

This report outlines how mobilisation should be centred on the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA).

The report identifies areas for urgent action to revitalise the global movement of PLWHA, including:
- Making universal access to quality treatment a reality
- The vigorous on-going promotion and defence of human rights
- Increasing the radical mobilisation of positive communities
- Organisational development for local organisations of people living with HIV
- Increased transparency and inclusiveness and improved coordination in the global movement
