Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

HIV Alliance

This US organisation works in collaboration with volunteers and community partners, assisting and supporting people of all cultures by offering health care and advocacy to those living with and affected by HIV.

Some of the services HIV Alliance provides are:

- compassionate care and referrals for people affected by HIV/AIDS
- free, anonymous HIV testing and counselling
- culturally appropriate safer-sex outreach to people at risk of infection
- free needle exchange, biohazard disposal and first aid supplies to injection drug users
- education to high risk populations, health and social service professionals, and the general public
