This UNESCAP paper provides disability-related data and policy-related information from a survey taken on the nations that are committed to implementing the Biwako Millennium Framework for Action towards an Inclusive, Barrier-free and Rights-based Society for Persons with Disabilities in Asia and the Pacific (BMF).The paper aims to continue dialogue on the key issues behind government commitment to persons with disabilities.
