Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

US Holocaust Memorial Museum & Google Earth

This initiative, a partnership between Google Earth and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, brings together compelling visual evidence of the destruction in Darfur, Sudan.

The presentation uses Google Earth to show:

- More than 1,600 villages that have been damaged or completely destroyed
- More than 133,000 homes, schools, mosques and other buildings burned to the ground
- Photos, testimonies and maps of the region

To view this resource, you will need to have Google Earth installed and operating on your computer.
