Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Global Education: raising awareness and understanding of international issues

The objective of the Global Education Website is to increase the quantity and quality of teaching of global education in Australian primary and secondary schools.

The site supports the AusAID Global Education Program which aims to raise awareness and understanding among Australian school students regarding international issues, development and poverty, and be active citizens towards shaping better futures in our globalized world.

The strategy of the project is to provide an Internet site and curriculum material of a high professional standard which is attractive, teacher friendly and accessible.
