Better learning, better future: education and training strategy for the Pacific

This Asia Development Bank (ADB) strategy aims to improve learning outcomes for the poor and disadvantaged in the Pacific, by enhancing the supply of and demand for equity, quality and relevance of education services. It discusses three strategic objectives:

- Education strategies relevant and responsive to national development objectives and client needs
- Effective public, private and development partner resource allocations for basic education
- Enhanced capacity of the Pacific Developing Member Countries (PDMC) to manage and deliver a quality basic education service

These objectives support the goal of increasing national capacity to use resources effectively to deliver an improved quality education service to respond to national needs. The report is available for download as individual chapters.
