Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Employment Intensive Investment Program (EIIP)

This site provides a collection of papers on the work, best practices and lessons learned from EIIP's programs from around the world.

The Employment Intensive Investment Program (EIIP) of the International Labour Organisation works to focus infrastructure investments towards creating higher levels of productive employment and improving access to basic goods and services for the poor. A large contribution can be made to the improvement of their livelihoods through appropriate investments in infrastructure that provide jobs and basic services.

The papers and lessons are presented according to their regional focus.
