Corporate governance deals with the rights and responsibilities of a company's management, its board, shareholders and various stakeholders.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) corporate governance principles, a key standard for international financial stability, were developed in response to the growing awareness of the importance of good corporate governance for investor confidence and national economic performance.
