Asia-Pacific partnership on clean development & climate
This website provides information about the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (AP6) including; the vision, charter and structure; links to relevant websites and publications, information on task force action plans and projects and news and media articles.The AP6 brings together Australia, China, India, Japan, Republic of Korea and the United States to address the challenges of climate change, energy security and air pollution in a way that encourages economic development and reduces poverty.
With its focus on the development, deployment and transfer of cleaner, more efficient technologies, the AP6 also aims to introduce new ways for business, government and researchers to work together. It is also the first time that industry has been afforded an opportunity to contribute as equal partners in global climate change discussions.
