This paper explores the history and current functioning of the conservation policy community in Papua New Guinea.It looks at the forces that have shaped this community, including global, national and ecological.
It also looks at the way that different actors within this community interact with each other, and how this in turn affects conservation policy and practices in Papua New Guinea.
