Electoral systems

Electoral system design handbook and case studies

International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) electoral system design project handbook, available in Arabic, English, French and Spanish versions, consolidates electoral processes from around the world to help countries choose an electoral system.

Case studies are supplied to illustrate the range of electoral systems for further analysis.
